Vita Flex Points

Vita-Flex is a safe, non-invasive, pressure-point reflexive massage technique. It uses rolling and releasing motions or pressure and pulling motions to activate reflex points on the feet, hands, and various areas throughout the entire body. It is particularly effective in delivering the benefits of essential oils throughout the body. There is a lot of information on these points, I am going to review the highlights for simple essential oil applications. Stanley Burrough’s book Healing for the Age of Enlightenment is an excellent resource that details the system he developed.

When using essential oils on Vita Flex Points on the feet, it is important to follow these directions:

  • Remove all jewelry and watches to prevent interference of energy.
  • Drop the oil into the palm of your non-dominant hand (3-6 drops) and use the dominant hand to stir the oil in your palm clockwise 3 times before application. This will increase the electrical frequency of the oil and significantly improve results.
  • Always start on the bottom of the feet and gently rub the oil from the palm to the corresponding Vita Flex Point.
  • Next place pressure on the Vita Flex Point using 4 fingers or just the thumb depending on the point you are working. A larger point will need the 4 fingers.
  • Immediately release pressure and move to a different Vita Flex Point you may need.

Using essential oils on the Vital Flex points on the Hands and Ears

  • Drop the oil into the palm of your non-dominant hand (3-6 drops) and use the dominant hand to stir the oil in your palm clockwise 3 times before application. This will increase the electrical frequency of the oil and significantly improve results.
  • Now gently rub the oil over the Vita Flex Point you need. Use the pressure and pull technique for the hand or ear. For example, if you are working a point for the right lung on the right hand, place pressure over the point indicated on the chart for the right lung on the right hand with your left fingertips and gently pull across the meridian and let go.
