Young Living – Peppermint (15ml)

Description

Ever go to a restaurant and they give you peppermint candies with your check? It is a nice gesture, but the goal is to settle your stomach with yummy peppermint in case you overate. They want you to feel good when you leave and come back for more.

Peppermint has so many amazing qualities. I use organic peppermint oil a lot, for tummy aches, neck pain, and Epsom salt baths.

Here are a few ways peppermint oil can help you:

  • Used as aromatherapy either diffused or sniffed from the bottle, it can help with:
  • Alertness
  • Allergies
  • Immune system support
  • Migraines
  • Depression
  • Morning sickness

Used Topically diluted with jojoba oil, hemp oil, avocado oil, or olive oil – I like to mix 1 teaspoon carrier oil with 5 drops peppermint oil – Always wash hands well after using this oil as it can burn your eyes:

  • Allergies – rubbed on the chest or lightly under nostrils
  • Bad breath – dripped on the tongue
  • Digestive issues – rubbed on the belly
  • Headache – rubbed on temples
  • Arthritis – rub on joint
  • Sciatica – rubbed along the nerve
  • Varicose veins – rub on the vein
  • Constipation – rub along lower abdominal region and tummy
  • Asthma, colds, or respiratory issues – rub on chest
  • Sore muscles – rub directly on sore muscles
  • Morning sickness

Orally – add one to two drops to water or tea to help with:

  • Digestive issues
  • Constipation
  • Morning sickness

Note: Keep away from children under 6.
